Chris Brown And Rihanna Reportedly Had Previous Domestic Disputes
Just hours after Chris Brown was formally sentenced to five years' probation on Tuesday (August 25), TMZ and Us Weekly have reportedly obtained court documents claiming that Brown was involved in two previous "domestic violence" incidents with Rihanna before the February altercation.
According to a probation officer's report filed with the court for Brown's sentencing, Us reported, the incidents "related to domestic violence."
The report claims the first incident allegedly occurred in Europe last year, when Brown and Rihanna were in a "verbal dispute." She slapped him, and Brown responded by shoving her into a wall, according to the report.
And three weeks before Brown's arrest in February, the former couple were in Rihanna's native Barbados and got into an argument while driving. The report claims that Brown got out and broke both the driver's and front passenger-side windows. However, no one was injured, and the incident was not reported to authorities.
The terms of Brown's plea deal, which the singer agreed to last month, include 180 days of community labor work, a year of domestic-abuse counseling and five years' probation. The judge, however, did not lift the protective order issued against Brown, warning him that he must stay away from Rihanna for five years, until August 25, 2014, when his probation period is over.
